Green meadows, rugged mountain giants and endless hours of sunshine: that is summer in Hochpustertal. Our apartments are the ideal starting point for a variety of activities. Hiking, biking, climbing or would you prefer a day trip? There is more than enough to discover! But no matter what you finally decide, the mountain scenery of the Dolomites is incomparable and will linger in your memory for a long time.

The mountain calls

Hiking trails, via ferratas and co.: in the mountain world of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Dolomites there are tours for every level of difficulty. The Sextner Dolomites are only half an hour away from our holiday home. Allow yourself to become enchanted by the fascinating mountain world and the indescribable panoramic views.

Easy walking paths and Nordic walking routes, diverse hiking trails and unique themed and family hikes await you. You will be spoiled with local delicacies in the rustic mountain pastures and huts. Absolute highlight: the Three Peaks. Want to enjoy the high life? Then the Dolomite high-altitude trails are something for just right for you – ranging between 1500 m and 2800 m they offer unforgettable stages and crossings.

On your bike

Leisurely family cycle paths, challenging mountain bike tours or conquering the passes on a racing bike – cyclists’ will have their pulses racing here. Whether city bike, trekking bike or e-bike, you will find tours for every type and every level here in the Dolomites region.
Not to forget: Many routes start directly from the house and the closest bike rental is only 5 minutes away by car. You can park your bikes in our in-house storage room.

Our tip for young and old: The cross-border Drau cycle path Innichen-Lienz, one of the most frequented cycle paths in South Tyrol. It will take you past various experiences that invite you to take a break. Your constant companion will be the magnificent view over mountains and nature.
And back? By train.

But it is not only East Tyrol that can be reached by bike, you can also cycle to Bruneck. To do so, take the Pustertal cycle path. It leads along the Rienz river and through the lush green nature – panoramic views included. If you feel like a snack, stop off in one of the villages or find a cosy spot along the way.

Feel like some more Italian flair and city atmosphere? Our holiday home is wonderfully connected to the cycling routes, which mean that you can also cycle to Cortina D’Ampezzo or Brixen among others. What will you choose?

On a journey of discovery

… through South Tyrol. Because there is so much to discover in the surrounding area. Lake Antholz is only a 50-minute drive away with an exciting circular trail – panoramic views included. The Pragser Wildsee lake is also only half an hour’s drive away. With its turquoise water and the Seekofel massif in the background, it is definitely worth a visit.

The Funbob at the Haunold in Innichen offers a different summer experience – at almost 2 km, it is the longest summer toboggan run in South Tyrol, where you can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h. A popular destination with thrills and guaranteed fun for all ages.

City lust? Italian flair and dolce vita await you in Cortina D’Ampezzo, while the sunny town of Lienz in East Tyrol offers visitors a cultural experience. Both towns are less than an hour away by car.
